Frugal Book Store is established.

Founded by Leonard and Clarissa Egerton, it is an outgrowth of Frugal Books, which had been part of the Frugal Furniture stores, operated by Bob Romanow, initially in the Washington Park Mall. It moves to 57 Warren Street in 2016.
